• Question

Does anyone have any extra tickets they are trying to sell for the Parachute shows at the House Of Blues Anaheim or House Of Blues Sunset show?

  • Day 29- In this past month, what have you learned

    • School is money and money is time. Even if you suffer now, there will always be a way to succeed.
    • Everyone is just as normal as everyone else, even if they play in a band, act on a televised show, and even the President Of The United States.
    • It may be hard but sometimes you have to let go of the people that don’t really make an effort for you. You deserve better.
    • I know I’ve watched a lot of different concerts and shows including Bruno Mars, Maroon 5, and even Usher. I’ve also watch TSS & The Cab quite a few times. However, ever since I attended the EFSS tour, it has been one of my favorite shows I’ve been to. Besides being surrounded by good people and being reunited with friends from all over, attending those shows made me remembered why I love their music to begin with. Sure, getting to meet them personally was a bonus but hearing it live was just great. Yes, I probably sound like a fan girl but oh well.
    • Going on a Low Carb diet is kind of hard than I thought. I’m surviving but I miss my noodles and potatoes.
    • Every time I hear a song, I always bob my head or quietly move side to side. I wish I didn’t stop taking dance. I wish I had the time for it now :/
    • Guys can either be the sweetest gentlemen you’ve ever met or the worst douche ever. I may have 3 older brothers and grew up with my guy cousins and mentors but boys can be the worst sometimes. Just like us, they can be complicated.

  • These last few days,

Were pretty much good. Real good.

Starting from Tuesday, I was able to attend the Everythings Fine, Symphony Soldier tour. One show in Anaheim at the House Of Blues Anaheim and one show in LA at The Roxy. The bands that performed were Paradise Fears, Days Difference, He Is We, and of course my favorites, The Summer Set and The Cab.

Day 1 started off with a day at Disneyland with my love, Ally. We ate lunch and our crazy selfs would go on Space Mountain and one other ride on a full stomach. Roamed around Downtown and met up with our friends Gladys, Sara, Natasha, Kennia, Christine, and Melody. I also met one with one of my Tumblr friends Catherine, who I was supposed to interview with but pretty much failed with some technical difficulties. Even though the security at the venue were pretty much jerks, the show itself was great. Before the show my friends and I had VIP so we got to meet everyone. I probably enjoyed taking photos of them with my instax since all of them had some interesting expressions. During the actual show, I was a bit tired but I pretty much was just “wowed” after the night. I had my “moments” and that show made me realized how much I love those two bands in particular. The show wasn’t sold out but everyone at the place literally sang along every song that was played, especially when TSS & The Cab sang. I probably would have cried if I could’ve.. haha.

Day 2 was not too shabby either. I pretty much had a concert hangover for the most part but woke up bright and early. First I got picked up by Ally then headed off to pick my friend Monique from school. Took a trip to LA then met up at the restaurant Rainbow and ate with our friend Gissane. Catched up from the last show and also made some inside jokes giving out nicknames. We then roamed around and checked out a bookstore, pointing out things and why we would give them as gifts. At the bookstore, Monique’s friend Angie also met up with us which was pretty cool since I haven’t seen her since The Noise Tour. Met up with some other girls and got through early with VIP again. When we went in, the venue was pretty small but me and the other girls were still lucky enough to head up to the front. During each band set, even though I had watched all of them the night before, I still enjoyed it equally. Starting of with Paradise Fears, even though I didn’t exactly knew they’re songs, I did have an interesting moment with the lead singer making me feel really really embarrassed while everyone just stared and laughed since I didn’t know what to do.. lol. During The Cab set, I pretty much rocked and danced yelling out every lyrics with Gissane by my side. There was a part where DeLeon literally put the mic towards me and of course, with my embarrassed self, I somewhat backed away since I didn’t really want anyone to hear my voice.. haha. And of course, for The Summer Set, even though I wasn’t exactly front row, me and Ally had our fun singing alone to “Someone Like You” with Brock, who sells merch, dancing like nothing. This night also kinda made me realize that I may use “vulgar” words a little too much so sorry if I cussed in front of you :(

Overall, these last couple nights were great. Since I technically haven’t been to a show since around November, it felt really good to start of my year watching some of my favorite bands not only touring but performing together. Plus, it was really nice to see some of my amazing friends who live in other cities. I was also glad I got to meet a few people from these past two days since I’ll probably come across them in the future.

Even though sometimes I wish I could experience these types of things with my friends that I usually see on a daily basis, it’s also not bad just going alone, to experience things in a different setting.

On another note, I’m really glad I bought these tickets the minute it started to sell. I’m pretty much broke for the most part but I guess all the fun and interesting things I came across with made up for it.

Now it’s a Friday and I think I pretty much wasted 30 minutes of my life typing thing long thing that you probably wont care about.. lol.

  • Today,

I bought VIP tickets to The Summer Set & The Cab show in January for LA & Anaheim’s show.

Call me crazy but I just had too. Plus, I cannot wait to meet up with my other lovely concert friends and reunite again. I’m so excited!

Yes, I would love to call this my “fan girl moment”

  • I have to admit, I knew about this band but did not know one song from them. With that being said, they are one of the best bands I’ve watched live.

My blackberry is crap but I love everything about this picture.

  • Yesterday,

I got to attend the first day of the “Get Your Heart On Tour,” which featured Marianas Trench, The Cab, Forever The Sickest Kids, and Simple Plan. It was pretty much a day to mark on the books.

The ride there was already a hyping me and my two friends, Ally & Gladys up. Singing, dancing, and probably getting a couple of odd stares because of our activity in the car.

Arriving to the venue was pretty smooth, except when we were confused to where we could park at. We ended up spending 20 on parking but luckily it was right next to the venue.

Met up with a few others and decided to take turns to grab something to eat. Ended up eating at some random place a few blocks away. The place was pretty decent especially with the amount of food for the price but still had crappy service.

After we walked down the street and actually bumped into one of my favorite bands, The Cab waiting for the stop light. In a blur, me and my friends said hi. Even though I wouldn’t do this, I actually gave a little Disney bag with a gift to Alex DeLeon, snapped a quick picture and headed back to the venue.

Went to the venue and pretty much waited for a while. A lot of things went on but everything was just getting me all pumped for the show. As a joke, I even yelled out a guy in a white van saying he was cute giving him a big happy shocked face. However, I found out he was one of the merch guys so I kinda felt -_-

There was a good amount of free time before show time so me and my friend who got will call tickets actually got moved to another line. I met two girls in front of me who took the bus from Arizona all the way to California. That is dedication. I also mentioned to some guy that he had a nice outfit only to find out he played guitar for Forever The Sickest Kids.. tsk tsk.

Came in the venue and pretty much was up in the front along with my other friends that I met, making a line for ourselves. Probably stayed up there for three sets for the first band, Marianas Trench, The Cab, and Forever The Sickest Kids. In between the sets, I had little conversations with the people around me and even met a girl who travels all the time and watched Simple Plan about 20 times. Die hard fan. I even got to pick up a guitar pick from Forever The Sickest Kids which hopefully I don’t lose!

I left along with my friend before the Simple Plan set just to cool off and get air. I ended up buying some merch from The Cab and confronted the “cute guy” who helped me out and gave me a poster as well. We came across other bands members just talking and photos in the hall.

I ended up taking pictures with Alex Marshall first since he was right in front of me. I took it from my polaroid, had him sign it and ended up being a fail since he signed on his own face. Luckily I got to take one again and he re did it for me. I also came across Joey Thunder who was also amazed from my little camera, making sure I liked it and everything.

While I was just standing and talking to one of my friends, I also got confronted by a couple random people asking us on what I purchased. Then they asked us on what stuff we would buy. I really just thought it was just some random guy only to find out he was actually the manager of The Cab. It was pretty cool talking to him though, just to put input on what people would and wouldn’t buy. The conversation went on for a good minute just to help them out for future merch ideas.

After the show though was pretty cool. I got to meet other bands, take photos, and just have a small chat here and there. I even came across Singer, asking him if he new Nutella-To-Go, since I realized he probably didn’t know what the heck it was. Hopefully he’ll like it because I basically gave it to him by accident -_- At least I’m glad he received it and got the little Tigger pin. Came across a few people outside and basically left until it died down.

Overall my day/night in Hollywood was pretty good. Even though at one point someone mentioned that I was “beautiful,” I wasn’t sure how to respond.

Now I have a concert hangover, a long work shift ahead of me, and possibly might go to a Halloween party later. I should be doing homework though..

Excuse me for a long post. I didn’t know I could write an essay in such a short time.

  • Today I pretty much fell in love with Bruno Mars. If you think his music is good, you should really hear him live. His voice is just too amazing.
