Questions actually worth answering.

Basically answering every single question from this post in request for my friend Ashley. Here goes nothing. 

1. Apart from Tumblr, what do you like to do in your spare time?

• Since I currently have a pass, I like going to Disneyland & I love going out to eat or going on food runs, trying new foods places outside my city. Most of all, I like going to Target for fun and going on adventures.

2. Name favorite of each : food drink color.

• Food? Love anything Red Velvet & I love mashed potatoes.. or anything potato in general. Drink? AriZona Green Tea or anything from Starbucks. Color? I like green and blue. 

3. If you married rich and your spouse gave you $100,000 a week, what would you spend it on?

• First I would buy my parents a house. Get all my siblings one. Then I would get Mary & Brenda one and yell at them when someone doesn’t flush the toilet.. haha. 

4. Name a favorite of each : book, movie, tv show. 

• Book? Go Ask Alice. Movie? 10 Things I Hate About You and She’s All That. TV Show? I have a lot but Kenan & Kel, Degrassi, and Boy Meets World will always be my favorites. 

5. If you were given the opportunity to spend 48 hours with absolutely anyone (living or dead), who would you spend it with and what would you do?

• Taylor Lautner or Alexander DeLeon from The Cab. I would go with them to Disneyland and try to ride Star Tours 54 times just to see all the different 54 destinations. 

6. Name LEAST favorite of each : food, drink, color.

• Food? Bitter Melon. Drink? Dr.Pepper. Color? Pink. 

7. What do you spend most of your money on?

• Food food food food food & sad to say but makeup :(

8. What kind of underwear do you prefer wearing?

• I prefer to wear underwear from Aerie. I work there but even before I started, I always liked their undies and the prints they had too especially since they even match with my bras.. ha. 

9. Name LEAST favorite of each : book, movie, tv show.

• Book? I know it’s a classic but I didn’t really like Lord Of The Flies. It’s probably because I was made to read it for school. Movie? The Human Centipede. Tv show? Tv show? I just don’t watch it haha.

10. If you were sat on a plane next to your favorite celebrity, what would you do?

• I would talk to them and ask them how their trip is going. Yeah, pretty much it.

11. What is the strangest thing you have in your room? (You are not allowed to explain why you own it.)

• I can’t even think of anything strange. Maybe a Pikachu pillow pet?

12. What is a weird habit you have, or people have told you have. (Weird, not bad. No nail biting or any of that nonsense.)

• My thing with teeth. I have somewhat of a teeth fetish maybe because I also have a OCD with my own teeth :(

13. What would you consider to be the biggest insult to yourself?

• “Can you actually finish all that food?”

14. What are five things you absolutely have to have in your dream house?

• Big back yard, nice kitchen, a room full of polaroids, a nice couch, and a dance room.

15. If you could be reincarnated as any animal, which would you chose and why?

• A elephant. They are huge but they are pretty innocent animals with really good memory.

16. Which band (current or past) would you want to go on tour* with? (*Travel with, not perform with.)

• My obvious answer. The Cab. 

17. Name a favorite of each: band, album, song.

• Band? N’Sync. Maroon 5, The Cab, The Summer set (Yeah I cannot pick one) Album? I have too many favorites but I’m currently lovin Parachutes “The Way It Was” Song? Sunday Morning (Questlove Remix) - Maroon 5 ft. Questlove. 

18. Why is your favorite band your favorite?

• N’Sync: I was born in the 90’s and Justin Timberlake was my first celebrity crush. Simple as that.  Maroon 5: The first time I heard “Harder To Breathe” I fell in love in Adam Levine’s voice. I bought their album as soon as I saved up my allowance. I’ve only seen them perform live once but got the opportunity to see Adam while filming The Voice & even sang Happy Birthday. At one point I went in a “Maroon 5” state and a lot of my friends said they started to listen to them more because of me lol. The Cab: I always think it’s funny how I actually met the members before I even really started to listen to their music. The lead singer, Alex, is one of my favorite male vocalists. Every show I’ve watch has been great. I like almost each and one of their songs and practically know them by heart. Plus, I’ve watched many different bands and artists but they are one of the only ones that actually takes the time to go out just to see their fans. The Summer Set: They are one of the first pop/rock bands I started listening to since I was actually a really big hip-hop listener. When I first heard Chelsea, I thought it was cool then I started to listen to more and more of their music. Since then, I’ve watched every show they’ve had in the LA/OC area since 2010. Plus, gotta you gotta love Jess.

19. How many concerts have you attended? Which was your favorite? Least favorite? If none, who do you want to see live the most?

• I honestly cannot keep track anymore but I know I’ve been to over 60+ shows over these past few years. My favorite? Hands down, Bruno Mars, The EFSS Tour, and Lupe Fiasco. I don’t have a least favorite but I do want to see Maroon 5 live again, One Republic, and Parachute. 

20. What is one of your favorite song lyrics? (Who is it by?)

• “Tell me what you want to hear

21. Who do you ship?

• I don’t ship with anyone at the moment unfortunately. 

22. What band merch do you own? If any, whose is it and when did you get it? If none, whose do you wish you owned?

• I always pick up at least one type of band merch every time I go to a show for memories so I have a lot. However, I do wish I could own a Maroon 5 shirt and the Endlessly necklace they sold at the end of the EFSS tour :(

23. How did you learn of the band that is currently your favorite?

• For my current favorite band? Well I actually first saw Singer perform with The Summer Set at Warped 2010 in Carson when he helped sing “Where Are You Now” with Brian. I went to another Warped date later that summer in Pomona and my friend wanted to see “The Cab.” Later that date, we were trying to find Artist vs Poet but found all of them waiting at the tent and decided to say hi to them just because. I actually started to follow Singer on Twitter and liked his quotes so I decided to listen to his music. Now, everything else speaks for itself(:

24. What celebrity do you idolize the most?

• Anthony Bourdain. I wanna live a life like his. That is all. 

25. Which member from which band would you most want to lather in nutella?

• I CANT believe this is the last question that is supposed to be “actually worth answering.” lol. I don’t think I should really say which member of a band I really want to “lather in nutella” since I think thats just a bit too much. I do wanna say that I accidently gave Singer “Nutella To Go” Last October if that counts?

These last few days,

Were pretty much good. Real good. 

Starting from Tuesday, I was able to attend the Everythings Fine, Symphony Soldier tour. One show in Anaheim at the House Of Blues Anaheim and one show in LA at The Roxy. The bands that performed were Paradise Fears, Days Difference, He Is We, and of course my favorites, The Summer Set and The Cab. 

Day 1 started off with a day at Disneyland with my love, Ally. We ate lunch and our crazy selfs would go on Space Mountain and one other ride on a full stomach. Roamed around Downtown and met up with our friends Gladys, Sara, Natasha, Kennia, Christine, and Melody. I also met one with one of my Tumblr friends Catherine, who I was supposed to interview with but pretty much failed with some technical difficulties. Even though the security at the venue were pretty much jerks, the show itself was great. Before the show my friends and I had VIP so we got to meet everyone. I probably enjoyed taking photos of them with my instax since all of them had some interesting expressions. During the actual show, I was a bit tired but I pretty much was just “wowed” after the night. I had my “moments” and that show made me realized how much I love those two bands in particular. The show wasn’t sold out but everyone at the place literally sang along every song that was played, especially when TSS & The Cab sang. I probably would have cried if I could’ve.. haha. 

Day 2 was not too shabby either. I pretty much had a concert hangover for the most part but woke up bright and early. First I got picked up by Ally then headed off to pick my friend Monique from school. Took a trip to LA then met up at the restaurant Rainbow and ate with our friend Gissane. Catched up from the last show and also made some inside jokes giving out nicknames. We then roamed around and checked out a bookstore, pointing out things and why we would give them as gifts. At the bookstore, Monique’s friend Angie also met up with us which was pretty cool since I haven’t seen her since The Noise Tour. Met up with some other girls and got through early with VIP again. When we went in, the venue was pretty small but me and the other girls were still lucky enough to head up to the front. During each band set, even though I had watched all of them the night before, I still enjoyed it equally. Starting of with Paradise Fears, even though I didn’t exactly knew they’re songs, I did have an interesting moment with the lead singer making me feel really really embarrassed while everyone just stared and laughed since I didn’t know what to do.. lol. During The Cab set, I pretty much rocked and danced yelling out every lyrics with Gissane by my side. There was a part where DeLeon literally put the mic towards me and of course, with my embarrassed self, I somewhat backed away since I didn’t really want anyone to hear my voice.. haha. And of course, for The Summer Set, even though I wasn’t exactly front row, me and Ally had our fun singing alone to “Someone Like You” with Brock, who sells merch, dancing like nothing. This night also kinda made me realize that I may use “vulgar” words a little too much so sorry if I cussed in front of you :(

Overall, these last couple nights were great. Since I technically haven’t been to a show since around November, it felt really good to start of my year watching some of my favorite bands not only touring but performing together. Plus, it was really nice to see some of my amazing friends who live in other cities. I was also glad I got to meet a few people from these past two days since I’ll probably come across them in the future. 

Even though sometimes I wish I could experience these types of things with my friends that I usually see on a daily basis, it’s also not bad just going alone, to experience things in a different setting.

On another note, I’m really glad I bought these tickets the minute it started to sell. I’m pretty much broke for the most part but I guess all the fun and interesting things I came across with made up for it. 

Now it’s a Friday and I think I pretty much wasted 30 minutes of my life typing thing long thing that you probably wont care about.. lol.

Today,

I bought VIP tickets to The Summer Set & The Cab show in January for LA & Anaheim’s show. 

Call me crazy but I just had too. Plus, I cannot wait to meet up with my other lovely concert friends and reunite again. I’m so excited! 

Yes, I would love to call this my “fan girl moment”
